The KVP IV Fluid Therapy Pump is engineered specifically for veterinary practice — from the busy small animal clinic to the large animal hospital. Unlike generic human-medicine pumps repurposed for vet use, this pump was built with animal health workflows in mind.

At its core, the pump features enhanced software that actively distinguishes between A-Series and B-Series IV administration sets. That distinction matters enormously: using the wrong set can result in dangerous fluid overload in small patients. The KVP pump removes that risk from the equation entirely.

The bright, premium color touch screen makes operation straightforward even in the middle of a busy treatment area. The simplified main screen menu means your technicians can set up infusions confidently without extensive training. The programmable drug library lets your team lock in safe dosing parameters for the medications you use most.

The integrated fluid warming system is a standout feature. Four sets of rapid-heating units reach the target temperature quickly, and two temperature detection units at the distal end keep readings accurate right at the patient's IV access point. The result: fluids arrive at the right temperature every time, helping maintain core body temperature during anesthesia or critical care.

Dual backup batteries provide up to 14 continuous hours of use — giving you full freedom to move patients between areas without interrupting therapy.

SETUP:
1. Mount the pump on an IV pole or use the included portable heater mounting base.
2. Power on; navigate the touch screen to select the correct IV set series (A or B).
3. Load the IV administration set per the on-screen guide.
4. Thread the 1,100 mm heating tube toward the patient's IV access site.
PROGRAMMING:
5. Select fluid rate (mL/hr) and total volume to infuse.
6. Optionally access the drug library to apply pre-set protocol parameters.
7. Confirm settings on the main screen before starting infusion.
DURING INFUSION:
8. Monitor flow rate and remaining volume on the color display.
9. The Animal Health Records Tracker logs infusion data automatically.
10. When moving the patient, confirm battery mode is active — up to 14 hours supported.
AFTER USE:
11. Stop infusion, clamp the line, and remove the IV set.
12. Wipe down exterior per your facility's disinfection protocol.
13. Recharge batteries as needed.
