We have product videos for most KVP canine and feline cones available to watch. Generally, you will want to measure the circumference of your pet’s neck with a flexible measuring tape, then compare to the size chart.

There are many options that allow full peripheral vision, but provide torso-only coverage of the pet. This helps with tunnel vision and stress. Options available are the Bite Not and Bite Free e-collar alternatives, or the KONG Cloud. Training can also decrease stress for pets, watch our video on how to train for e-collars.

We would recommend looking at our Preferred E-Collar collection for more durable, long-term cones that are easy to clean.

Spot cleaning as you wear, as well as training can minimize damage the pet does to the e-collar. You can also navigate the cone (off of the dog) around frequently visited spaces for your pet to make sure that it does not come in contact with furniture or tight spots.

Using a mild soap and water, you can spot clean surfaces of collars, then line-dry. Make sure you are frequently pulling any hair from the Velcro to ensure that it does not get matted.
