Step 1: Prepare the Band
Select the appropriate band length (10”, 20”, or 30”) based on the pet’s size. Choose a color that fits your identification system (e.g., white for general use, red for medical alerts, green/blue/yellow for boarding or department coding).

Step 2: Write Identification Information
Use a Sharpie® marker or another permanent marker to clearly write the pet’s name, client name, or case number. For boarding or shelter use, add extra details such as feeding instructions, medication alerts, or kennel number if needed.

Step 3: Apply the Band
Wrap the band gently around the pet’s neck, leg, or a designated area (avoid tight placement, ensure room for comfort and safety). Press the overlapping ends together firmly. The pressure-sensitive adhesive will strengthen as you apply pressure. Double-check that the band is secure but not restrictive.

To remove, simply peel the band apart or cut safely with scissors.
