How To

Choose the Right Size
Select the correct Saf-T-Clear™ E-Collar size based on your pet's neck measurement.
Secure to the pet's identification collar (optional)
Thread skin-safe material like gauze through the openings along the arched edge of the cone (when laid flat), and attach it to an unclasped ID collar.
Position Around the Neck
Gently position the cone (already secured to the unclasped ID collar) around the dog’s neck, making sure the wider opening faces forward and fully covers the head. Fasten the ID collar, then pop the snap closures in to secure the cone into its final shape.
Check Fit:
Ensure the cone is snug but not tight; two fingers should fit comfortably between the collar and the neck. Confirm the dog’s nose doesn’t extend past the edge of the cone.

Watch our video on how to apply the Saf-T-Clear. This recovery cone has small perforations along the base of the e-collar allowing you to secure to a personal identification collar. The small tabs along the short side of the e-collar (when laid flat) is used to pop into the circular perforation on the opposite short side of the e-collar, creating a “cone shape.” make sure to stay in the same column of holes for an even clasp.
