1. After completing an infusion, flush the catheter with saline (or heparin per protocol).
2. Remove the Standard Male Adapter and T-Connector, Luer Slip from sterile packaging.
3. Thread the Luer Lock connector onto the catheter hub and tighten a quarter-turn to lock.
4. Leave the female cap in place to protect the connector until next use.
5. Secure the capped catheter with appropriate bandaging.
6. Replace the adapter plug at each new infusion session or if contamination is suspected.
