How To
1. Prepare the Pet’s Coat Begin on dry, detangled fur. If mats or tangles are present, pre-comb with a regular brush to avoid damaging the fine teeth.
2. Comb in Sections Start at the head and work in small sections toward the tail. Use smooth, consistent strokes to lift parasites and debris.
3. Clean Between Strokes Dip the teeth in a cup of lukewarm, mild detergent water between passes to remove captured pests and prevent reattachment.
4. Inspect as You Go Examine the combed fur and the comb itself for parasites like fleas or flea dirt. Continue until the entire coat is clear.
5. Clean and Store After use, rinse and dry the comb thoroughly. Store in a clean, dry place for ready access during future grooming or exams.
